Fall is here, time to put summer into jars
I've been fighting it, but its time to put away the flip flops and pull out down vests. First canning project: hot pepper pickle. I bought about 3 pounds of mixed jalapeno, Hungarian and chili peppers at the farmers market and followed David Lebovitz's recipe. I haven't tested them yet (I'm a hot stuff super wimp - these will have to be tested my guy) but they sure look pretty!
Lovely!! I have been hemming and hawing over what to do with a crop of verrrrry spicy Thai peppers we planted....thanks for the recipe!!
